1. About Us These Terms and Conditions apply to all domestic cleaning services supplied by Kisa Cleaning LTD (“the Company”, “we”, “us”) to private residential clients (“the Client”, “you”).

By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

2. Services

2.1 We provide domestic cleaning services including:

• Regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning

• One-off cleaning

• Deep cleaning

• End of tenancy cleaning

2.2 Services will be provided as agreed at booking confirmation (email, phone, or written quotation).

2.3 We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw services where conditions are unsafe, unsanitary beyond reasonable expectation, or pose a risk to our staff.

 

3. Quotations and Pricing

3.1 All quotations are based on the information provided by the Client.

3.2 Prices may be adjusted where:

• The property condition differs significantly from described

• Additional rooms, appliances, or tasks are requested

• Access is delayed or restricted

• The time required exceeds reasonable expectations

3.3 Any pricing changes will be discussed and agreed before continuing work.

 

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment is due:

• On the day of service (for one-off cleans), or

• Weekly/fortnightly as agreed (for regular cleans)

4.2 Payment must be made via agreed method (e.g., bank transfer, cash, card).

4.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if payment is not received within 7 days of the due date.

 

5. Cancellations & Cooling-Off Rights

5.1 Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Clients booking online or by phone may have a 14-day cooling-off period.

5.2 If you request services to begin within this 14-day period, you acknowledge that you may be charged for services already provided if you cancel after work has begun.

5.3 For regular cleaning services:

• A minimum of 24–48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule

• Late cancellations may incur up to 50% of the service fee

• Same-day cancellations may be charged at 100%

 

6. Access to Property

6.1 The Client must provide safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.

6.2 If we are unable to gain access, the full service fee may be charged.

6.3 Where keys are provided, we will take reasonable care but accept no liability for loss unless caused by proven negligence.

 

7. Client Responsibilities The Client agrees to:

• Provide electricity and hot water

• Secure fragile, valuable, or sentimental items

• Inform us of hazards (e.g., sharp objects, loose flooring, unstable furniture, pets) We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage

• Wear and tear

• Damage caused by faulty fixtures, poor maintenance, or defective materials

 

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

8.1 If dissatisfied, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.

8.2 We will offer to return and re-clean affected areas where reasonably possible. Refunds will not be issued without first allowing us the opportunity to rectify the issue.

 

9. Liability & Insurance

9.1 Kisa Cleaning LTD holds Public Liability Insurance.

9.2 Our liability is limited to the value of the cleaning service provided.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Services are provided in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

 

10. Health & Safety We comply with:

• Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974

• Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 All staff are trained in the safe handling of cleaning products and equipment.

 

11. Pets Pets must be secured where necessary.

We are not responsible for pets escaping due to unsecured doors, gates, or fencing.

 

12. Termination of Regular Services Either party may terminate ongoing services with 7 days’ written notice. We may terminate immediately in cases of:

• Non-payment

• Unsafe working conditions

• Abusive or inappropriate behaviour

 

13. Data Protection We process personal data in accordance with:

• UK General Data Protection Regulation

• Data Protection Act 2018 Personal data is used only for service delivery, invoicing, and legal compliance.

 

14. Non-Solicitation, Non-Dealing & Protection of Workforce

14.1 To protect the legitimate business interests, workforce stability, confidential information, and goodwill of Kisa Cleaning LTD, the Client agrees that they shall not, without prior written consent, directly or indirectly:

• Employ

• Offer employment to

• Engage

• Contract with

• Solicit

• Introduce to another employer

• Facilitate the engagement of

• Or otherwise deal with for cleaning or related services any employee, worker, subcontractor, or representative introduced or supplied by Kisa Cleaning LTD (“Introduced Personnel”).

 

14.2 This restriction applies:

• During the term of the Agreement; and

• For a period of 12 months following the later of:

• The last date services were provided to the Client; or

• The last date the Introduced Personnel attended the Client’s property.

 

14.3 This applies regardless of whether the engagement is:

• Direct employment • Self-employment

• Through another business or agency

• Via a third party

• Paid in cash or otherwise structured to bypass this clause

14.4 If the Client breaches this clause, the Client agrees that Kisa Cleaning LTD shall be entitled to recover, as a genuine pre-estimate of loss and not as a penalty: £3,500 or 12 months’ equivalent service fees (calculated at the average monthly invoice value), whichever is higher.

14.5 The Client acknowledges that:

• The Company invests substantial time and cost in recruiting, vetting, training, insuring, and managing its personnel

• The above sum represents a reasonable and proportionate estimate of loss

14.6 Kisa Cleaning LTD reserves the right to seek injunctive relief and/or additional damages through the courts if necessary.

 

15. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
